Rosebowl’s movie bonanza



Shawshank Redemption on June 3

It is a movie bonanza on Rosebowl as it has set aside June to feature films inspired by novels.

The movie mania starts June 1 with ‘The Grapes of Wrath.’ This is followed by ‘The Bourne Identity’ on June 2. ‘Shawshank Redemption’ is on June 3 and ‘Psycho’ on June 4. The channel screens ‘Ordinary People’ on June 5, ‘Schindler’s List’ on June 6 and ‘The Colour Purple’ on June 7. ‘Goodfellas’ is the movie screened on June 8 and ‘Bridge on the River Kwai’ on June 9.

Some of the other movies screened during the fiesta include ‘It’s a Wonderful Life,’ ‘Dracula,’ and ‘The Godfather.’ The films will be screened at 9.30 p.m.
