Past versus present

A new show on Vijay will make a spoof of songs and films of the past and the present

Vijay TV launches “Amman TRY Anda Kaalam Intha Kaalam”, a comedy show, on May 31. With Dindigul I. Leoni as a moderator and a live orchestra, it will take viewers on a satirical journey through cinema of the past and the present.

The irrepressible Leoni along with mimicry artistes Murthy and Gopi will make a spoof of the songs, culture and movies. Watch Murthy and Gopi take sides on the stage, each vying to prove the past or the present is the best. With a humorous anecdote, the show is sure to have viewers in splits. The show, which will take up themes such as love, family and friendship, will air on Sundays, 10 a.m. on Vijay TV.
