Essay contest

SMOT Business School conducts an English essay writing competition — “Ready, Steady, Write” for college students of arts or engineering stream, across India, graduating in the current academic year (2008-2009). The best essay will be awarded a prize money of Rs. 25,000. The second and third winners will be awarded prize money of Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000 respectively. Winners who want to join SMOT Business School for the PGPM course stand to win prize money or scholarships. The topics for the essay, (in a minimum of 1,000 words), are ‘As a responsible citizen of India, how will I take my country through this financial slowdown’ (or) ‘Out of 30 lakh students who graduate every year, only 5 lakh choose a management course for their PG.
