Miss Deaf World’09

The Miss Deaf World 2009 contest will be held in Prague from July 1 to 12. Deaf Leaders, India is associated with the Czech Modal Management, the official organisers of the contest. Deaf Leaders has selected Mamta from Indore, Madhya Pradesh to represent the country at the event. An intelligent student, Mamta is pursuing her Bachelors in Commerce. She has also won four national awards in badminton and volley ball. This, along with winning the fourth place in Miss Silent India 2004. Mamta will leave for Prague on July 1. She will join women with hearing disabilities from around the world.
