There has been a rapid growth in vehicles with urban mobalisation. Nearly 20-25 per cent of people in India own a motorised vehicle today. This is leading towards traffic mayhem in near future. To promote short distance travel to work in a non-motorised vehicle, Firefox Bikes Private Limited has just launched Hybrid Trek Series in India, which could be a bike for a corporate executive. The Hybrid series are introduced here as an initiative to bring about “a cycle-to-work revolution” which will help lower pollution and road congestions. This series of bicycles has been successful in the U.S. and the U.K.

Priced at Rs.19,505, Trek 7100 has Bontrager tyres, which are used by world’s top bike riders. The features include aluminium frame, suspension fork and seat post, adjustable stem and handle bars. The wheels have alloy hubs and 32 double wall alloy rims. The seat posts also have adjustable suspension. It has seven speed shifters for quality and speed biking. It comes with a combination of silver and black colours and is said to be a treat for those who are in love with leisure biking.
