High on everyone’s wish list is a fairy godmother who will inject some excitement into their lives. The lady with magic wand visits everyone — but in a different form every time. For Smita Rajagopal, she came knocking on the door as ibibo.com. Thanks to the website, Chennai-based Smita now can call herself the ‘iFreshface’ from South Zone.
Meant for those with the potential for modelling, iFreshface invites people to place their photos. Smita’s husband Vishal Rathor, who works for a software company, posted her photos. After sifting through the photos, Smita was adjudged iFreshface (in the women’s category) from the South. As the women in the photos were judged by the discerning eyes of Dabbu Ratnani and representatives of Elite Model Management, Smita has a reason to be self-congratulatory. On the contrary, she downplays the achievement. “It is meant for those who are photogenic,” she says. As she is not too tall, Smita has counted herself out of ramp modelling. But she is keen on other areas of modeling.
With Deepak Rathod and Ankit Siroya, who won an ibibo.com contest for photographers, creating a portfolio for Smita, she is all set for a second career. Smita runs a graphic design and brand consultancy firm called Smitten.
