Get moving

One of the hardest things to do is to exercise, despite the best of intentions; one can find dozens of reasons to put off that workout. A better way in that case is to find ways to be active: walk instead of taking the car (when you can); climb the s tairs (atleast part of the way) instead of depending on the lift; clean the house, play with the kids, weed the garden… almost any activity exercises the muscles and benefits the body. Activity is a great stress buster and mood enhancer; plus, it boosts your functional fitness (the ability to do everyday chores). Try it; you’ll start feeling better almost immediately.
