Survival expert Bear Grylls

Man Vs. Wild returns with new adventures on Discovery Channel. Find out what host and adventurer Bear Grylls has to do to survive some of the planet’s most extreme environments and find his way back to civilisation. He tackles different scenarios, using his training and adventurous spirit for everything from climbing mountains and scaling waterfalls, to scavenging and eating raw insects and fish.

Airing every Tuesday at 9 p.m., the new episodes take Grylls to the terrifying jungles of Belize. He faces some of the harshest conditions on earth as he parachutes into the frigid Siberian Tundra, braves the raging waterfalls of the Dominican Republic, transverses his way through the wilderness of the Oregon, the dry sands of the Sahara and the torturous swamp of Indonesia.

In each episode, Bear jumps into sticky situations and employs techniques — from building shelter in snow caves to encountering snakes, mosquitoes and river currents. These methods, certainly unusual and sometimes unthinkable, could be life-saving.
