Later, both the king and the queen renounce all worldly pleasures and pray to Lord Shiva to bless them with a child. Lord Shiva is impressed with the couple’s prayers and they are blessed with a child. But who is this child?

This is the story of how Emperor Constantine brought Christianity to the Western world.

This film charts the key turning point in his reign – from the mysterious sign in the sky that led him to paint Christian symbols on the shields of his army, to his final victory over his rivals. It explores how his adoption of Christianity put him on a collision course with the forces of tradition, leading to a savage civil war.

It also shows how he ultimately used Christianity to unite people across the empire – but also how Christianity used him to establish itself.
