Makeover specialist

HARSHIKAA UDASI

Mike Stringer is having a great time working with Bollywood stars. The prosthetic make-up artist, who was appreciated widely for his work in “Lord of The Rings” and for Hirthik’s disguises in “Dhoom 2”, has worked on Ran i Mukherjee for her upcoming role as a Sardar in YashRaj’s “Dil Bole Hadippa” and on Sanjay Dutt’s hair in the “Pink Panther”-inspired “Chatur Singh Two Star”. While Rani’s drum-beating sardar required some fuzz on the face, for Sanjay Dutt, the man has created a Hitler-esque wig, complete with side-parting and a thin moustache.

Speaking of makeovers…

Guess where Monica Bedi is nowadays? She is busy promoting her very own music album. Not many knew she could sing but if you have digested that, then the bigger surprise is that it is a collection of devotional songs. Of course, the woman has always maintained that she does not want to fritter away the second life that she has got.

Sequel man

Director Paritosh Painter is one happy man. He is in the middle of penning “Dhamaal 2”, a crazy comedy of a quartet of friends and has just got a green signal from Subhash Ghai for “Paying Guests 2”. The film released recently to a not-so-great response, but, reportedly, had Ghai in splits. Not only this, Paritosh is penning yet another sequel, which has the four friends in a comedy of errors in the backdrop of a beauty pageant.
