Avoid luxury purchases


The fancy of shopping gained momentum when the IT industry was at its peak. Heavy inflow of money by way of huge salaries made people extravagant . But now recession has shaken all sectors of people. It is no longer sustainability but the question of survival itself. It is better to avoid frequent and big shopping show. One should master the art of saying “no” to the temptations and change the mindset towards saving. We can exercise 10-20 per cent reduction in shopping of essential items and completely avoid buying luxury items. Window shopping is an ideal choice in the times of recession. Children should also be well explained the financial strains.
