Shemaroo Entertainment has released three DVDs “Heavy Metal - Louder than Life”, “Punk Attitude” and “Hype”.

The content has been licensed from Fremantle Media.

The films feature the evolution of the respective music genres, what it means to listeners, their relationship with music and the bands they follow.

“Heavy Metal-Louder than Life” focuses on Metal fan following and listeners’ loyalty towards bands they follow such as Metallica, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Megadeth, and Twisted Sister.

Directed by Dick Carruthers, the film will take you to a journey of how Metal influences everyone.

The DVD comprises a range of features and is priced at Rs. 499.

Punk Rock is not just a form of music, it is supposed to be the expression of people who believe in their selves. “Punk Attitude” is directed by Don Letts, a musician and a witness to the Punk phenomenon. The DVD features legendary bands such as Ramones, Sex Pistols, MC5, New York Dolls etc. Apart from live performances, it also comprises interviews with the band members and is priced at Rs. 499.

The DVDs are available at select stores across the country.
