Buffet with ‘live’ cooking

The annual ‘Bubble in the Rain’ food festival is on at The Gateway Hotel, Marine Drive (the old name, Taj Residency). The chefs will be presenting several interactive experiences from different parts of the world each day. Why interactive? Well, the chefs will cook them live, right in front of your eyes. Here is the feast: A chaat counter, Punjabi food counter, chicken satay, pastas, stir-fry and grills, Roesti with assorted toppings, Mongolian barbequeue etc. The favourite Indian pao bhaji, Calicut biriyani, tawa tak a taks, Nizami rolls, kebabs and ethnic lip-smacking delicacies like appam/stew, dosa with assorted fillings, naadan thattu kada selections like kothu parathas will also be available.

Monsoon favourites like flambéed fruits/desserts, ice cream Sundaes, and Fondues are part opf the festival. Enjoy the complimentary beverage too while a live band plays your favourite. This buffet dinner comes at Rs. 550 plus taxes per person. This food festival, whoich started on July 3 is on till 12th. If you are a big group, then do call for reservation at 2371471 extn. 381/382.
