Food Bytes

Wander through bustling back lanes of foodie Asia, past beatific monks, cheerful vendors and endless plates of exotic food. This blog brings all the delicious chaos of Asian markets alive with its intuitive photographs and enthusiastic writing. We’d arrived in Songkhla two days before and immediately fallen in love with its scrappy fishing port and semi-crumbling ‘old town’. Across the street a vendor sets up her stall... She’s selling coconut sticky rice (plain white and yellow, coloured with turmeric) with a variety of accompaniments, deftly wrapping each order in a banana leaf.
