Make up for the blemishes!

Make-up Studio is here

BEAUTIFUL YOU Creating demand for skilled make-up artists

“There is nothing that makes its way more directly to the soul than beauty.” Nobody can deny that in this day and age, looks are extremely important. To make the best of one’s natural beauty, one must know the art of make-up. The glamorous faces we see staring down at us from glossy magazines and advertisements are the result of right make-up and presentation by their make-up artists who use various techniques to hide their flaws and enhance the best features.

To train people in this important but often ignored art of make-up, Rienk Koopman of Special Cosmetics BV, Netherlands, along with Rajiv Mittal of Ekta Capital Limited have launched a branch of Make-Up Studio Training Center in South Delhi. “It is a strategic move to not only create demand for highly skilled make-up artists, but also to sow the seeds of quality consciousness in the minds of the people at large,” said Koopman, Chairman, Make-Up Studio.

Talking about the state-of-the-art training centre, artist Minisha Jain, who teaches at the Studio said, “We have courses to meet the demands of people who are already working in the field as well as those who are completely new to it. We have packages of different durations that one can choose according to one’s needs.” All the courses are certified by Make-Up Studio, which is recognised by the European Commission. However, you get the certificate only if you pass the written test and interview with at least 65 per cent marks. Its various courses train students for a career as a multi-faceted make-up artist for the entertainment, fashion and beauty industries.

The launch ceremony at Hotel Intercontinental was followed by a make-up demonstration session by internationally-renowned artist Ron Romeijn, showcasing 10 creative make-up looks and displaying the multiple possibilities of Make-Up Studio products.
