The best of Eagles

A tribute to the band that gave us hits such as ‘Take It Easy’ and ‘Hotel California’

Rolling Stones magazine listed them as one of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. But JfK (jus’ for kicks), the Chennai-based band, decided that The Eagles deserve more than adulation than that.

So on November 13 at the Museum Theatre, Egmore, they’re lining up some of the finest songs of the great American rock band, in a tribute to them.

The Eagles, who had broken up for 14 years after they were formed in 1971, released their latest album, the award-winning ‘Long Road out of Eden’ in 2007.

JfK, who have been performing for over a decade now, includes Sujan Daniel and Richard Nathan as vocalists, Shayne Fernandez on the keyboards, Tim Elliot and Vikram Vivekanand on the guitar, Gerard Joseph on the bass guitar and Immanuel Theophles on the drums. Their concerts have been trying to spread awareness about the need for environmental protection.

Tickets are available at all Landmark stores, Unwind Center, Gatsby in Nungambakkam, and at the venue on the day of the show. For details, call 98410 56997 or 98841 63064.
