Adios childhood

Ben Okri quoted that “We plan our lives according to a dream that came to us in our childhood, and we find that life alters our plans.” Today, the quote can be rephrased as “Parents plan their child’s life according to a dream that came to them, and the child finds that life alters its plans.” Owing to the pressure from parents and to the breakneck pace , children are being forced to evolve, rather grow too fast, thus bypassing that wonderful time of life that is childhood, when the colours are brighter, the air softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever.
