Yesterday once more

Sing Along performs songs from the golden years


Now it’s the senior citizens’ turn to croon. ‘Rewind the Sing Along for silver citizens’, is being organised by the Sing Along troupe on November 15 (6.30 p.m.) at the Museum Theatre.

The programme that will have 20 singers and musicians will feature popular English songs from the yesteryears (1930-1980) — of Judy Garland, Louis Armstrong, Harry Belafonte, and more. Folk singer Prasad Ranjan from Kolkata, who has shared stage with Pete Seeger, will also perform.
