Kids will be introduced to Thumb Thumb series of books on November 14

This Children’s Day, Vishnupriya, a well-known storyteller will use thumb puppets to introduce Tulika’s recently launched the Thumb Thumb books to children. The programme will be held in Hansel and Gretel at 11.30 a.m.
Thumb Thumb, a series of ten books for young readers, combines the requirements of beginner books with the creativity and vibrancy of children’s books.
These beginner books have Thumb Thumb Thambi and Thumb Thumb Thangi — a boy and a girl inspired by visuals using the thumbprint — as their central characters. The thumbprint embodies the extraordinary magic that lies within the seemingly ordinary. So many images can be represented by using the thumbprint imaginatively. It is this sense of adventure and childlike wonder that Tulika aims to capture.
