‘Semshook' at Cinequest

Roshni and Siddharth

Actress Roshni Chopra is headed for The Cinequest Film Festival, the first major annual independent film festival held after the Academy Awards. Located in San Jose, California, Cinequest has grown to be one of the largest and most influential film festivals featuring new film makers.

Roshni will be there supporting her husband Siddharth Anand Kumar (who is also directing the series Seven for Yash Raj TV). Siddharth's movie Semshook will be screened in the competition category. Mira Nair's The namesake had its world premiere at Cinequest. The film, in one line, is a Tibetian's search for truth on a journey across the Himalayas.
