Drain on resources

Majority of the mundane household chores these days have been taken over by gadgets. We are living in a chaotic mesh of electro waves, whether we like it or not. These gadgets are a drain on our power resources and are ultimately harmful to us in many ways. Reverting to the earlier times sans gadgets, may not be fully possible but at least we can certainly create more eco-friendly gadgets.
