Will Delhi be able to change its rude tag with the CWG?

IndiaSpeaks, an online web portal, has conducted a Commonwealth Games perception study. The results show that the awareness level for CWG is high among Indians with 86 per cent of the respondents being aware that the CWG are going to be held in October and 66 per cent aware that Shera is the official mascot.
The positive part is three-fourths of the respondents feel positive about CWG's success and 77 per cent agree that Delhi has become more viewable because of the Games.
While 42 per cent have plans to attend the Games, about three-fourth have no plans of going on vacation during CWG.
On the negative side, the majority of respondents say the cost of living has increased because of the Games and that the infrastructural rates are going to escalate further after the event.
The majority of the respondents want work timings to be flexible during CWG.
The three major concerns of the respondents are safety and security with terrorism as the biggest threat, safety of women, and traffic control.
As for the rudeness tag associated with the city, 40 per cent of respondents feel that Delhi will be polite from now on.
