The audio of Prabhu Deva's directorial venture “Engeyum Kaadhal” was released recently. Produced by Kalpathi S. Agoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S. Suresh for AGS Entertainments, the film stars ‘Jayam' Ravi and Hansika Motwani, who is making her debut. The music is scored by Harris Jayaraj.

There are seven numbers in the album. The title number written by Thamarai has been rendered well by Aalaap Raju, Devan and Ranina Reddy. The same lyricist has written ‘Lolita', sung by Karthik and Prasanthini.

In Vaali's lyrics ‘Thee Illai' is impressive in the voices of Naresh Iyer, Mukesh, Gopal Rao, Mahathi and Ranina Reddy. The veteran lyricist has also penned “Nangaai”, sung well by Richard, Rahul Nambiyar and Naveen Madav. Na. Muthukumar has penned ‘Dhimu Dhimu', the pleasing number sung by Karthik. ‘Bathing at Cannes', teeming with English words, is written and sung by Emcee Jesz, Kash, Krissy and Ranina Reddy.

Kotti

The audio of Aanjana Cinemas' “Kotti”, presented by J.T. Sathish Kumar, was recently released. The film is directed by Sivan, who also plays the lead.

The audio was released by director K.S. Ravi Kumar. He said that it was a healthy trend for directors to become heroes, but while doing so, they must be careful with the script and the role. Sivan's other film as a lead is “Vijayanagaram”, to be released yet.

“Kotti” is about a young man who detests violence, but takes to it for the sake of his father. The music is scored by Guru Kalyan.

There are six songs in the film. ‘Ippadi Aanathillai', a good number written by Sivan, is sung by Kalyan, Manasa and Guru. The song is repeated by Harini, Kalyan and Guru. ‘Ketta Ketta' is a sweet number written by Viveka and sung by Ranjith. ‘Allathe Allathe' is written by the director himself, and sung beautifully by Harish Ragavendra. ‘Sanda Sanda' sung by Ananthu is a melodious number. The Kotti Theme Song is enchanting.
