The terror story

Discovery Channel will telecast “Death of Bin Laden”, a one-hour programme on the Bin Laden operation — from the time intelligence was gathered in 2010 through the burial of bin Laden at sea. It will be showcased at 9 p.m. on June 5. Catch the repeat at 8 p.m. on June 6. The programme is said to delve into the details of how the operation was planned and executed.

It seeks to answer key questions that are to-date unresolved — How many special ops forces were involved? How was facial recognition used to identify bin Laden? Why was one of the helicopters abandoned and destroyed?
