Golden fried baby corn

CHEF T. THIRUNAVUKARASU


INGREDIENTS:

(Serves 2):

Baby corn: Six

Corn flour and maida: Two Tbsp each

Baking powder: Quarter Tsp

Ajino moto: One pinch

Salt and pepper: To taste

Oil: For frying

METHOD:

Cut each baby corn into three long strips. Mix corn flour, maida, baking powder, ajino moto, salt and pepper well. Add enough water to make a thick batter. Heat oil in a frying pan. Dip the baby corn in the batter and fry till golden brown. Serve hot with chilli sauce.
