Awards to be conferred

THE ANNUAL music and dance festival of Brahma Gana Sabha is to be held at Sivagami Pethachi Auditorium.

It will be inaugurated on December 3 by Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Coimbatore).

On this occasion, the award `Natya Padmam' will be conferred on Odissi exponent, Sonal Mansingh, `Gana Padmam' on musician Thiruvengadu Jayaraman and `Nataka Padmam' on veteran stage personality K. S. Nagarajan.
