Music fest

The ninth annual music festival of Sriranjani will be inaugurated on December 5, 5.45 p.m. with the presentation of the title Ranjani-Sangeetha Kala Sagara to T. N. Seshagopalan at Obul Reddy Hall (Vani Mahal).

The inaugural concert will be presented by Gayathri Girish.

The series itself gets under way on December 22 with the concert of Mambalam sisters at 4.30 p.m. The series is a mixed fare featuring vocal and instrument, lec-dems, namasankirtanam and so on. The curtain will come down on January 1.
