Dedicated to composers

Chennai Fine Arts will be conducting its 3rd music festival between December 4 to 12. It is dedicated to composers like Azwars, Purandaradasa, Syama Sastri, Othukadu Venkatakavi, Swati Thirunal and M. Balamuralikrishna.

On the inaugural day, the trust plans to honour two scholars, Bramha Sri A. Suubukrishna Somayaji and Sri Oragadam K. Lakshminarasimhan for their contribution to the preservation of our cultural heritage. To mark the occasion, the trust also plans to bring out a special souvenir.

N. Murali, president of the Music Academy will be inaugurating the festival and B. M. Sundaram will felicitate the awardees.

The festival scheduled at R. K. Swami Auditorium, opposite to RR Sabha, Sundareswarar Street, Mylapore.
