MUSIC ON TV

All TV Channels should have at least two hours of Carnatic music drawn from the December season with different telecast timings. This would help senior citizens like me, confined to the house, get a feel of the season. Old ragas and kritis are not taken up by many artistes.

I enjoyed Sanjay Subramanyam's delineation of the forgotten kriti `Ni Bhakthi Bhagya Sudha' by Tyagaraja in Margazhi Utsavam on Jaya TV.

Also, why can't channels flash the names of the accompanying artistes? Isn't this equally important?
