Young connoisseur

I love music and I would love to go for `kutcheris' everyday, but I cannot sit listening from morning to evening.

I go for programmes mainly in the Music Academy, and sometimes in other sabhas such as Bharat Kalachar, Sri Krishna Gana Sabha and Narada Gana Sabha.

My parents take me along but if they are both busy at work, I don't mind going with somebody else.

I am not scared to go alone either because when I am listening, I feel music is my company. I never get bored in a concert.

Yesterday, Sikkil Gurucharan sang quite well, but I liked N. Ravikiran's Chitraveena concert much more. My favourite is M.S. Subbalakshmi. I have not heard her singing live, but I have heard more than 20 CDs of hers. I have been learning music for four years.

I want to learn all about music but I want to become a pilot because I like flying more.

Abhinav Shankar, (age 10),
Alwarpet.
