Aural pleasure

I've been listening to Jayanthi Kumaresh for a long time. I think that after her marriage to Kumaresh she has begun to enjoy her music more and that makes it more pleasurable for listeners.

Her Dharmavati was the best today. Jayanthi made it interesting by contrasting suddha swaras with gamakas.

Everything was balanced — melody, rhythm, and the excellent accompanists (Patri Satheeshkumar, Giridhar Udupa) were not loud.
