Violin symphony

Tamil Nadu Arya Vysya Maha Sabha's Madras District Unit is organising a full-length, two-hour cultural programme, the `Carnatic Violin Symphony' by A. Kanyakumari on Dec. 3. It is a unique programme that is being performed with 21 violins, two mridangams, a ghatam, two kanjiras and the morsing. The event, sponsored by GMR Group, is to be organised at Tapovan Hall, Chinmaya Heritage Centre, Harrington Road, Chetpet, and will be targeted at the music lovers of South India.
