Narayana Tirtha festival

The Thirupoonthuruthy Narayana Samigal Trust is conducting their eleventh mini music festival of Tharangams of Narayana Tirtha for three days at the Sringeri Pravachana Mandiram, Raja Annamalaipuram.

The festival will be inaugurated on December 14, 5 p.m., by Usha Seshasayee.

O.S.Thiagarajan will render the saint’s compositions.

The festival also features a dance presentation by Jayanthi Subrmaniam on December 15 and bhajans rendered by Udayalur Kalyanarama Bhagavathar.

On December 16, 11 a.m., the title Namasankirtana Seva Ratna will be conferred on K. Jayarama Bhagavathar. Prizes will be given to winners of the Tharangam competition held in September.

The evening session has musicians rendering the hymns of Tirtha.

At 6 p.m., Sudha Seshayyan will present a speech, ‘Sri Krishnanubhavam.’

The festival comes to an endwith Anjaneya utsavam.
