How do you check if your site is vasthu-compatible?

LET'S ASSUME that you have short-listed the orientations of your new house-search adhering to the rules of `The Directions of Movements'.
Now, see if the facing direction of the property matches with the majority of the family members, especially the key breadwinner, according to respective Kua Numbers.
Check if the property meets the Vasthu requirements, without compromises, in aspects like the facing direction, surroundings, levels both inside and outside, road slopes, water bodies, wind channels, sizes and corner angles.
After you are satisfied with the basic vasthu conditions prevailing, and after carrying out necessary corrections, get ready to go ahead with the architectural, landscape and interior design layouts.
When the whole property is at your disposal as an independent plot, you can fully take advantage of implementing every possible Vasthu recommendation... and carry on celebrating life!
How many are blessed with a freedom like that? What if it is a shared property? A multi-storeyed apartment?
Until you choose the appropriate orientations of movement and pick up a suitable front as per the Kua numbers, the exercise is identical for both independent and shared properties. Only after that you need a specific technical approach towards conditioning an existing property to your Geomantic requirements.
* Draw out the layout of the property to scale. Divide the same into nine equal segments in a grid map, matching the central points of both the layout and the grid map.
* If the property is of an irregular shape, make out a cardboard cutting of the layout and hold it on a pinpoint to locate the centre of gravity. Now, overlap the same with the nine-grid map.
Let us discuss a property that faces West and has the main entrance on the West side of Northwest.
Now, holding the layout firm, rotate the grid so that it aligns with the cardinal directions of the plot.
Now, on the plan layout of your property you will be in a position to find nine essential attributes of your every day life, that you may be able to control just by making the recommended `adjustments' so that you hardly have complaints.

Okay, now the one sector of the nine-grid layout that falls on your main door attributes to the impression of others upon your family and your influence over people and places!
Let's call this `FAME' in short.
As per the table shown, your `Fame' sector falls on the West facing main door and the rest of the Northwest part of the property.
West of Northwest, as per Vasthu terms, is attributed to the outside world, people from unfamiliar circles, people of higher stature, travel, communications and social outings.
Check out how satisfying are the attributes related to your `Fame' and your family. Question yourself about how you relate yourself to these aspects through your daily, short and long-term routines.

Check with the portent of your Kua number in this orientation with that of the house. Does it compliment or clash?
Verify with the Flying Stars of the Lo Shu Magic Square if you are bestowed with favourable stars here. If not, go for recommended remedial measures without compromises.
