Slope matters in a site

Every piece of land has an unique energy level which has a bearing on its owner

PROMISED LAND: Topography matters in construction

MANY LAYOUTS are coming up now in the Garden City and people are constantly selling and purchasing new sites. These sites have various attributes connected to them like shape, fertility, elevation, depression, dimension etc.

One important attribute that needs to be looked into is the sloping of the site. When the natural land slopes towards a particular direction, two major changes occur. The first is the placement of energies on the higher side and the second is the placement of energy on the lower side. These energies can be either positive or negative depending on the direction.

When we say that the land slopes to the east, we mean that the western side is higher than the eastern side. Similarly, when we say that the land slopes to the north-west, we mean that south-east is at a higher level as compared to the north-west side of the plot or site.

Bond created

Do these elevations or declivity affect the owner or the residents of the site? When a site is allotted to a person and the marking is done, a bond is created between the owner and the site automatically. The bond is so intense that the connection goes up to the innermost level, the mind.

It is generally observed that any problem with the site affects the master. As a simple example, if someone dumps garbage on the site, the master immediately becomes furious. He puts himself into action and ensures that it is removed. This is at the tangible level.

Similar events can take place at the intangible level. The movement of energies and the primary elements of nature are altered because of declivity and elevations. This affects the master either positively or negatively depending on the energy movements.

Balance of energies

Classical works have recommended that a site has to be of uniform level. Our experience seconds this statement. This ensures proper balance of the energies and movement of the primary elements and assists in bringing in peace and prosperity.

Some common results as given by classical works are as follows:

Declination towards east - Vriddhi (prosperity)

Declination towards west - Arthaksyam (loss of wealth)

Declination towards north - Dhanam (wealth)

Declination towards south - Naranam Kshyam (loss of people).

If south-east and east are higher and west and north-west are lower - Shubam (good).

If north and north-east are lower and south and south-west are elevated - Prashastham Kulavadhanam Deergayu Cha (auspicious, family growth and prosperity).

If south-east and east are lower and west and north-west is elevated - Kalahavairyam (commotion and enmity).

If west and south-west are lower and east and north-east are higher it is termed as Smashanam (burial ground) and the results attributed to this is Kulanasham (destruction of the family).

The results need not be applied verbatim. These texts perhaps indicate the intensity of energies which can either be positive or negative.

Sloping of natural land might put the positive energies to the lower side and negative energies on the higher side. These energies are nothing but powerful vibrations affecting the human mind and they can have a considerable impact on the person's thinking.

The simple principle will be south and west are elevated and the north and east are lower. For human constructions, one of the classical works clearly recommends uniform floor levels. However, if the modern architectural requirements of split-levels are applied, ensure that the elevations and depressions are taken care of.
