Splash elegance on your house and decorate it with some resplendent colours. Give it a stylish look that will be pleasing to the eyes. Splash, the new home furnishing brand of Hanung Textiles, promise all this as it enters the Indian market.
It targets the changing needs of Indians who are looking for classy homes with Indian look and affordable prices.
The range comprises bed linen, cushions, pillows, towels, comfortersand a host of other products.
"We have proved ourselves in the soft toys market and home makers can expect similar quality stuff from us", says A.K. Gupta, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Hanung Toys & Textiles Ltd. The company is eyeing big markets like Hyderabad and Bangalore apart from all metros.
The Noida set-up
The furnishing division located in the hosiery complex in Noida with a built up area of 45,000 sqft has more than 250 machines.
The processing division is among the few in the country to have state-of-the-art bleaching, dying and printing facility on fabrics that are 120 inch wide.
"This enables us to maintain international quality giving utmost satisfaction to the customers," Mr. Gupta says.
Given the market demand the company is starting another plant in Uttaranchal that can produce 16,000 finished pieces a day.
Much in demand
The company's soft toys aimed at the premium market under the brand name Play-n-Pets are already a known name.
With account holders like Walmart, Springs, Mohawak, Britannica, Royale Lines, Lillian Vermon and Ahlens across the continents and Lifestyle, Shoppers Stop, Hypercity, Westside, Pantaloons, Reliance, and Ebony in the country, the soft toys are taken to almost every door step in the premium segment.
Disney too
It is the official licensee of Disney Plus toys, Disney cushions, Infant bedding and Infant pre school category.
"Kids need not ask their relatives abroad to send toys as they are available in India now," Mr. Gupta says.
To make it more Indian, the company is manufacturing Hanuman soft toys that have become a craze after the Hanuman animation movie was released.
In future it plans to come out with soft toys of other Indian mythological characters like Sri Krishna.
