YOUR VOICE

Registration

My father has a property in Coimbatore.

It was registered in the names of my father’s brother and my grandmother.

But, now we have legally changed the property to the names of my father and his brother.

In the court they have given the corresponding documents (photo copy) and have said that the revised property divisions should be registered within 60 days.

Already 40 days have passed. When we approached the registrar’s office they said we should spend 8 per cent of the property value for stamp.

In order to avoid this cost, the registrar’s office asked for the original copies of the court document but the document is in the court.

Can you help me to solve this problem?

Since there are only 20 more days we have to start from the scratch once again.
