The forum would take this opportunity and appeal to the Government of Tamil Nadu to issue licences to the real estate agents to regulate their trade. The licensing system already exists in countries such as Singapore and the U.S. The responsibility of the licensed agent increases making him more accountable and transparent. Similarly, the association has a web site www.creaa.net where the office bearers, committee members and all members’ contact telephone numbers with address are provided for reference.
