Rapid growth: New commercial and residential buildings are seen in the central business district (CBD) in Beijing. China’s urban fixed asset investment rose 26.8 per cent in the first 11 months of 2007 compared with a year earlier, the National Bureau of Statistics said with overall urban fixed investment -- a key measure of spending on infrastructure projects -- for the period was 10.1 trillion yuan ($1.4 trillion).-
