A premium neighbourhood

A host of international standard amenities are packaged as part of Palm Meadows, says M. Srinivas

Green pastures: The sprawling project is to get dotted with 330 spacious villas.

The city suburbs which are rapidly donning a new look with a series of projects that offer luxury residential options in the form of villas have a new development taking place.

Spread over a site of 95 acres at Kompally on the suburbs and close to the proposed Outer Ring Road on the National Highway-7, is the latest project that has been announced recently.

The sprawling project is to get dotted with 330 spacious villas with enough spaces left for nurturing greenery and a lot of leisure outdoor activities.

Being planned as a premium neighbourhood of unique villas, ‘Palm Meadows’ is being developed by S. A. Habitat, a joint venture between the Splendid Group and Aparna Group of Companies. A host of international standard amenities that promise to go with emerging lifestyle are packaged as part of the Palm Meadows.

Smart card access to the main doors, surveillance cameras, purchasing groceries through online from leading retail outlets, at-home billing services, customised lighting which is just a click away, solar water heater systems and many more facilities are to be offered under one roof in this residential project giving the inhabitants a feel of luxury.

Highlight

The main highlight is going to be palm central park in 14 acres with cascading water court, garden, one-kilo meter jogging and cycling track, 2.5 acre artificial lake, mini-golf course, children’s play area, skating rink and food kiosks.

Other standard amenities that gel with global standards include a world class clubhouse comprising gym, banquet hall, lawns and poolside restaurants. For shopping, one need not go far as the project will have a separate and dedicated commercial space that would cater the daily needs and conveniences.

Palm Meadows, promoted as the largest residential villa project is being developed at an estimated cost of over Rs.600 crore. “We have designed the project keeping in view the need for space and serenity with international facilities,” SA Habitat Managing Director P. Kiran Raju said at a press conference here.

He said a communication room would act as a hub for satellite and internet activity which would also be linked to home automation suite. Superior acoustic systems would also be provided to cater to the needs of individuals in the villa, he explained. “We will collect maintenance charges from customers for two years and later corpus fund will be created.

The project is likely to be completed by 2008 end,” he said. He added that over 50 per cent of the construction work was already completed.

The plots on offer in the project vary from 533 sq.yards to 840 sq.yards in the price range of Rs.1.80 crore to Rs.2.40 crore.
