V3 Homezone launched in city

After establishing itself in the segment of modular workstations and allied products, V3 Engineers have now entered the home segment and announced opening of a design and display studio at Jubilee Hills in the city. Branded ‘V3 Homezone’, the exclusive showroom will be operational in another 45 days.

Products

Under the home segment, the products to be offered include doors, wardrobes and kitchen furniture. The same are to be designed, manufactured, marketed and installed by the company itself. V3 Engineers boast of around 8 per cent market share nationally in office modular workstation space and the diversification is seen as completion of its portfolio in the modular furniture industry.

Elegance, quality and value are the features of products that the company which has capacity to manufacture 3.6 million doors, 6,000 kitchens and wardrobes per annum. The range is marketed by manufacturers as a perfect blend of superior materials with accessories from brands of international repute coupled with end-to-end service.

V3Doorz come in standard sizes with fully assembled frame and doors ready for installation to the wall.

The specifications include light weight, dimensionally stable under differing weather conditions, in-built features to accommodate gaps upto 10 mm between frame and wall and user-friendly installation procedures. They shutter varieties include Prelam, Natural Veneer, Ply Face, PVC, MS Steel and SS Steel among others.

V3 Engineers plans to open 30 Homezones across South India in the next year and half and the city is to get three branded franchisee outlets apart from one each in Vizag and Vijayawada. In the State alone, the company has set a target of around Rs.35 crores in three years.

“Strong synergy in terms of production and design capabilities is the backbone of our foray into the home furniture category and we are positive that we will be able to replicate the success of office furniture,” says Guru Prasad, V3 Director.

Adds another Director Sampath Raghavan, “We are introducing a range of products that customers can connect with both emotionally and rationally.” The company holds many patents in the office segment.

The total size of the furniture industry in the country is estimated to be worth approximately Rs.350 billion of which the residential segment is projected to comprise 60 per cent.

Given the growth rates in the construction sector, the residential segment is projected to grow further.
