Indian Teak: Rs.2,500

Burma Teak: Rs.3,500

African Teak: Rs.1,600 to Rs.1,700

Beeja Sal: Rs.750 to Rs.950

STEEL

From Rs.28,500 per tonne to Rs.37,000 per tonne.

BRICKS

Rs.1.25 to Rs.1.50 per piece of mud bricks. Rs.2.25 to Rs.2.50 per piece, if they are lightweight.

Hollow bricks made of cement powder cost less and are used by some builders.

CEMENT

Varies from Rs.210 to Rs.230 per bag depending on the brand.

SAND

Local sand - Body level - Rs.3,000 (5 to 6 tonnes)

Local sand - Full load - Rs.5,000 (13 to 14 tonnes).

STD load - Rs.9,000 (20 to 21 tonnes)

On an average per tonne is sold at Rs.600 to Rs.700 depending on the quality.
