Vertical expansion makes for a metro

IVR eyes Vizag, Bangalore in its next phase of development

Sky is the limit: In tune with the trend, high rise buildings are much in demand now.

The city-based IVR Prime Urban Developers has entered into a joint development agreement for construction of high rise residential apartments in Visakhapatnam and Bangalore apart from Hyderabad.

These include a sprawling 9.2 acre gated community project at Kukatpally comprising a built-up area of 1,325 million sft and a parking area for 1,200 cars.

The Rs.386 crore project will have 2-bedroom apartments of 1,250 sft, 3-bedroom apartments of 1,500 sft and 4-bedroom apartments to be spread over 1,800 sft each.

This particular project coming up at Kukatpally, which in the last couple of years emerged as one of the fastest growing location, with high demand for residential property and figures prominently on the middle and upper-middle class plans for a property in the Cyberabad growth corridor.

Steel city foray

E. Sunil Reddy, Managing Director, in a statement issued here informs that the company is set to foray into the city of Visakhapatnam with its real estate development at Vedurvada located near the Vizag Steel Plant. Named ‘Misty Wood’, is spread over 130 acres and the location is surrounded by the 6,000-acre Naval and Air Force Academy and the upcoming SEZ of Achutapuram.

The Rs.300 crore project comprises 1,500 affordable independent homes in a well planned layout, he says.

The total built up area of the venture is around 1.220 million sft and each plot size measuring upto 200 sq.yds with a built up are of 815 sft.

Amenities such as club house, landscaped open spaces, primary school among others will be the value addition.

The ongoing projects of the company include the ‘Thyme Park’ at Bangalore spread in the area of 8 acres taken up at a cost of Rs.110 crores.

It has 490 flats in eight planned buildings with 727 car parks. Of the total built area of 5.26 lakh sft, 1.41 lakh sft has already been completed.
