Solar panel fabrication in Hyderabad

Goldstone Infratech, a market leader in polymer insulators, has announced a joint venture with Jusung Engineering Ltd., an equipment supplier in Korea, to set up a solar panel fab in Hyderabad.

Goldstone Infratech will hold a 54 per cent stake in the venture, while Jusung Engineering (JE) and June Min, the founder of JE and Solar Power Pvt. Ltd., will hold 46 per cent. Solar Power and its partners will be setting up a production unit to manu facture thin-film photovoltaic panels, Goldstone group CEO N.K. Rawal said. The initial fab capacity will be 52MWp, with an investment of Rs. 600 crore for the first fab of the project. . — PTI
