In the lap of luxury

Spread across 35 acres, Lahari Resorts oozes aesthetics at every turn, writes T. Lalith Singh

Idyllic retreat: It’s all about greenery, water bodies, music and relaxation.

Cities grow and the outskirts stretch themselves to accommodate the growth. Desolate terrain sports a new look, muddy tracks get replaced with gleaming new roads, infrastructure falls in place, housing comes in and inhabitants replace the stillness with the buzz of life. That’s what has been happening here too.

In ever-widening circles, the city is growing in all directions and one such point that has started bleeping on the realty radar is Bhanoor, located at a comfortable drive away from Patancheru. And one of the major projects making it happen there is that of Lahari Group.

Not only the property acquisition is being witnessed here, the leisure aspect of life too is taken care of with the Lahari Resort that spreads out beautifully over 35 acres. A lazy river meanders through, greenery rolls out into picturesque contours, natural rocks intersperse and whatever constructed there, just oozes aesthetics. From landscaping to the design of constructed spaces, a creative touch can be seen in the place.

Started more than two years ago, the facility has already caught the fancy of many for the business conferencing facilities to just letting the hair down. It is a complete family outing too with water slides, rain dance, bowling, disco, cricket ground to beach volleyball court. A health club and gym, indoor games such as bowling alley, snooker table, inflated rock climbing and other activities promise to keep one engrossed for the period of stay.

Royal comfort

For stay back, the place has executive deluxe rooms, queen and king suites, presidential and royal suites, with the last in particular sweeps one off their feet. It is just comfort and it comes with complete royalty. The stay facilities have spacious and well-appointed rooms with all the amenities one can look forward to. Multi-cuisine restaurant, coffee shops and a hookah bar just makes the stay that much more comfortable.

The whole idea of the resort had genesis in the small concept of a club house that Lahari Group came up with for those taking plots in the project. “We kept adding facilities and then went for a full-fledged resort,” says Swapna Cherukuri, Managing Director. Leisure is in vogue these days and many software companies organise day outings for their staff. And that’s where the popularity of resorts pick up considerably.

“Lahari is all about greenery, water bodies and music. The focus is on relaxation,” says Swapna whose initiative posted a considerable profit curve this year and has set eyes on hitting at least Rs.1.50 crore in the next.

Close to the resort, the developers are coming up with a 135 houses gated community project on 16 acre site. The 325 sq.yd. each unit with all amenities is set up as economy housing concept. With the kind of growth the vicinities have started showing, a hotel is also planned. The target clearly being the horde of industries around the belt and emerging IT spaces. And don’t count it as a suburb. “This area is poised for a good growth and just wait for a couple of years, it will be part of the city,” says Swapna.
