International brands in furniture and accessories are flooding the city. And holding a true promise to redefine luxury is latest entrant, the Italy-based Incanto group which is opening a store South Bay to showcase its high-end products in the city.

The store at Banjara Hills Road No. 12 has a wide yet exclusive collection of sofas, chairs and other accessories that come straight from Incanto unit at South Italy and boast of a fine fusion of comfort and design.

The range for products brought here by Master Pieces start at Rs.1,000 and touches Rs.10 lakh mark. In the city for inauguration of the store, the first in country, the group president Giovanni Sforza says, “we did not to come to India with just a product but with a concept and creativity.”

A considerable amount of research and understanding of the market here was taken up before the decision was made.

“We understood the local tastes and needs and merged the same with our creative concepts,” he says. Mr. Giovanni says the best of material, from wood to leather, goes into their products.

It is not just design too. “At times, design does not go well with comfort and we understand the need to have the two in right proportion”.

Feather and foam

Feather and foam goes into every sofa making one just sink with certain cosiness. Whether it be a side table or a décor item, each comes with a certain taste that is hard to resist.

Says Lamak Ezzuddin, director, Master Pieces, “there is no compromise or cutting corners and this makes each piece complete.”

Mr. Lamak and his wife Inseeyah Ezzuddin have been the creative force behind the luxury brand Master Pieces.

But why Hyderabad to locate the first outlet in India? “The city is emerging on the global map with youngsters who have spending abilities for this kind of products. This generation is globetrotting type and exposed to the best on offer everywhere,” Mr. Giovanni points out.

“We can also produce personalised style and dimension for our customers,” he adds.
