An open invitation to designers

A developer organising a competition for architects is the first of its kind

For their upcoming ultra-luxury gated community project, Radha Realty Corp (RRC) has announced an international architects’ design competition. A. Alliance from Singapore, Andrew Maynard Architects from Australia, Dutta & Kannan Architects from Bangalore and Maithel & Associates from Jaipur are participating in the competition.

All architects will submit their design concepts next week and the architect with the best concept will be appointed, the company informed in a statement issued here.

This is the first time any developer in the city is organising such a competition. With architects of such standing, a great product will be brought to the city, said Ravindranath Reddy, Managing Director, Radha Realty Corp.

“Based on a detailed market research, we have concluded there is still a strong demand for ultra luxury homes priced above $2 million in Hyderabad,” added Vinay Shenoy, CEO, X-Cube Advisors.

Adds Amit Bagaria, Chairman, asipac group, ““Hyderabad has been witness to very staid architecture in residential buildings for long and it is time the city witnesses something new and refreshing which portrays the India of tomorrow.
