All-encompassing townships

Bangalore is the city of villas, and there is yet another township speaking of opulent lifestyles. A look by RANJANI GOVIND

Bangalore is a city of upmarket luxury villas…a city that laps up an affluent lifestyle with gated projects and integrated townships. You have the money, the lifestyle is ready for you in a platter! Designs are aplenty, choice of features overflowing with such projects dotting the length and breadth of every area. The Garden City has the highest number of villa-projects that speak of class and style, setting an example for other cities to follow.

One such is the El Dorado Park from the Alliance Group coming up close to the Electronics City with 1,100 premium villas and 200 row houses, all set to be nestled in 275 acres with landscaped spaces, 18-hole golf course, 150-room five-star hotel, four-screen multiplexes and shopping malls.

Says Manoj Namburu, CMD, Alliance Group, “We have planned a strategic location where El Dorado Park will be in close proximity to leading IT and bio-tech companies. Let alone all the features of an extravagant lifestyle, conveniences of social living such as school and multi-speciality clinics are being provided..”

Warranty

The villas here come with a warranty and are slated to have imported marble flooring, modular kitchens, air-conditioned rooms, solar water heaters and automatic garage doors too. The Rs. 2,500-crore project, designed by HOK of the U.S. and Zachariah Consultants, would be equipped with tennis, squash and badminton courts along with a fully-operational gym and spa.

But all this would be incomplete without a brand ambassador, and the Alliance Group has Anil Kumble as its ‘real’ envoy to take the message across. “I’m happy to endorse a fast-growing real estate firm that offers its customers a unique warranty which reflects commitment and transparency. And the idea of taking to the golf course is exiting as it would be an ideal relax after wielding the cricket ball in serious matches,” said Kumble, who has invested in an El Dorado villa, to be ready in 2 years.

Alliance’s maiden residential project was ‘10 Downing’ at Whitefield, and El Dorado Park will be situated close to the Electronics City, - both ventures away from the city’s clutter and noise.

But their project names also attract attention..“10 Downing was because the project has 150 European-style villas and El Dorado in Spanish refers to the golden treasures, and we want people there to live in concrete green gold,” says K. Sriram of the Alliance Group.

Other projects

Whitefield now boasts of a major percentage of the city’s Silicon Valley and houses villas and gated community projects that could provide a high-flying address to your name. Some of the villas are stylishly named ‘10-Downing,’ ‘Palm Meadows,’ ‘Shantiniketan,’ and ‘Wind Mills of your Mind,’ each costing between Rs. 2 and Rs. 7 crore, and sure match the upscale yet serene affluence that the names throw across! Whitefield has nearly 15 gated-and-villa projects with software being the backbone for the brick-and-mortar structures, and the growing economy helps gain an ‘Urban Bangalore’ status to it.
