An ‘icon’ of integrity

World-class designing apart, customers can get all details of the project

Builders claim many things in glossy brochures about their projects. But when it comes to credibility, most of the prospective clients view such claims with some degree of scepticism. This is what Bharath Infratech-projects Ltd is trying to neutralise through their novel venture at Kondapur.

The project named Iconia having 1,500 apartments has now a showcase – The Sales Lounge, which is meant to create that ‘first impression’ among its customers.

At the lounge, prospective costumers can get all details of the project, visit the model flats, enquire the home loan details with the ICICI and HDFC bank officials and also go through the photocopies of the permissions granted for the project.

International expertise

For Iconia, the company pooled the international expertise to provide a global living experience. “We understood our strengths and chose partners wherever we required.

We partnered with firms who are smarter than us and can bring international standards to the venture,” said the company director T. Ranganath. The world’s largest architectural and structural design firm Atkins, the designer of Burj Al Arab in Dubai, designed the 18-storied towers of the project. The kitchens and bathrooms are designed by Kohler, world leader in the segment. Site Concepts International (SCI), a reputed landscape architecture firm based in Singapore, designed the different kinds of landscapes. Interior design was by Design Worldwide Partnership (DWP), a leader in South East Asia. Unity Infra Projects, who executed the renovation of a terminal at Mumbai International Airport, is the builder of the venture.

The 21-acre site is seven minutes away from the financial district and IT firms such as Microsoft, Wipro, Infosys, Polaris, CA and many others and will be 30 minutes away from International Airport once the Outer Ring Road is completed. “Our project overlooks 4,000 acres of green canopy of HCU, SBI Training College and Indian Institute of Immunology,” claimed Mr. Ranganath.

The flats are available in 3 BHK, 4 BHK and 5 BHK specifications and the price band is Rs. 75 lakh to Rs. 3.5 crore. “The price is competitive with given facilities and location. We have finished 30 -40 per cent of sales of 1,500 flats and expecting to close the sale with in two months,” he added.
