CREDAI Kerala comes into being, elects office-bearers

The formation and launch of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (CREDAI) Kerala last week heralds the commencement of an era in bringing together real estate developers in Kerala under one umbrella.
CREDAI Kerala has been formed by the Kerala Builders’ Forum (KBF) Kochi and Kozhikode chapters and CREDAI Thiruvananthapuram. CREDAI represents the building and real estate development industry in the country. Union Minister of State for Agriculture K.V. Thomas was the chief guest at the launch programme on July 17. CREDAI Kerala was formally inaugurated by Santosh Rungta, president of CREDAI. Shekar Reddy, vice-president of CREDAI, launched the Kochi chapter.

Kumar Gera, chairman of CREDAI, conducted the installation of Abdul Azeez as chairman of CREDAI Kerala and Najeeb Zackeria as president of CREDAI Kochi. The other office-bearers are S.N. Raghuchandran Nair, general secretary; Haseeb Ahamed, treasurer; and Raffi Mather, joint secretary.
The secretary of CREDAI Kochi is M.V. Antony. Roy Joseph is the treasurer and John Thomas, joint secretary.
